Introduction
At Vizasound, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy describes what we collect, how we use and share information, and the choices you have. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
- Account & Profile Data: username, email address, display name, avatar (if provided), registration method (application, Google, Discord, Apple), email confirmation status, and basic account settings.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): your jingles and related artifacts (titles, lyrics, audio files, video files, cover images/prompt images, prompts and negative prompts, tags, language, aspect ratio, lip-sync settings, and other creative parameters), plus public/private and complete/in-progress flags.
- Camera & Photos (optional): if you choose to use the camera feature, we access your device camera only to capture an image you submit as an input to create a jingle. The image may be uploaded to our servers and treated as user-provided content (e.g., a prompt image or cover image) so we can generate the requested output. We do not access your camera or photo library without your action and permission.
- Microphone (optional): if you choose the voice recording feature, we request microphone access only while you actively record audio for upload. We do not enable or use your microphone in the background, and we do not access microphone audio unless you initiate recording and grant permission.
- Media Kit Images & Voice (optional): if you choose to upload images or save a voice sample in Media Kit, we store that content so you can reuse it in creation tools. These uploads are optional. You control whether only you, your connections, or your followers can use your saved Media Kit images or voice where sharing controls are available in your settings.
- Direct Messages: when you use messaging, we process message content, conversation metadata (participants, timestamps, message status), and related moderation/safety signals.
- Activity & Engagement: creation timestamps, views, listens, likes, follows, saves, reports, shares, preferences, recommendations signals, and other interactions with your content and features.
- Payments & Credits: credit purchases and redemptions (amounts, currency, provider, date, non-card identifiers like transaction IDs). We do not store full payment card numbers or CVV.
- Support, Reports & Moderation: issue reports submitted by users (reporter, target user, linked jingle, issue text, status, assigned admin) and system error logs needed to keep the service reliable (e.g., timestamp, endpoint, request path, remote IP, throttle key, optional metadata).
- Device & Technical Data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, operating system, app version, referring/exit pages, and session timestamps (e.g., last login user agent) for security, performance, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and analytics.
- Cookies & Similar Technologies: essential cookies for sign-in/session management, functional cookies for preferences, and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser, though some features may not function without them.
- Communications: emails you send us, support correspondence, transactional messages (e.g., confirmations, receipts, alerts), and your marketing preferences.
- Notifications (if enabled): push notification preferences, email notification preferences, and technical delivery data needed to send notifications (for example, device push tokens and delivery status metadata).
- Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect: sensitive categories such as precise geolocation, government IDs, health data, or biometric templates.
How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: create, host, store, organize, display, and deliver your jingles, lyrics, audio, images, and videos; manage credits; and enable requested features.
- Authenticate & secure accounts: sign-in, session management, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and account protection.
- Create AI outputs: send your prompts, settings, uploaded media, reference materials, and related inputs to third-party generation providers so they can return music, lyrics, images, video, lip-sync, or other outputs you request.
- Voice uploads from microphone: process your optional microphone recording only to create and operate your requested voice-based features.
- Media Kit images and saved voice: store and process your optional Media Kit uploads so you can reuse them in AI creation flows, subject to the sharing permissions you choose in your settings.
- Direct messaging: deliver messages between users, maintain conversation history, enforce follow or mutual messaging rules, and prevent abuse.
- Improve performance & reliability: diagnostics, debugging, monitoring, error logging, abuse prevention, and quality assurance.
- Moderate content & safety: review user reports, enforce our policies, protect users, and respond to legal or policy concerns involving content.
- Payments & credits: process purchases, detect refunds or chargebacks, manage balances, and maintain accounting records.
- Communicate with you: transactional emails (service, receipts, security notices, important updates). Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and you can opt out anytime.
- Notifications: if you enable notifications, send app, push, and email notifications such as important alerts, message updates, content status, product updates, and, where permitted and enabled, promotions.
- Analytics & product development: understand usage to guide improvements. We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure feature usage, page views, navigation, and performance. Analytics data is used for first-party product improvement and not for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use de-identified and/or aggregated analytics where possible.
- Service promotion and showcasing of public content: where content is public, we may use related metadata and media to operate recommendations, feeds, discovery, highlights, showcases, and promotion of the service as described in our Terms.
- Legal compliance: satisfy tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, enforce our rights, and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private UGC to train our own models.
Authentication Services
You may sign in with the application’s native authentication or via Google, Discord, or Apple. When you use a third-party sign-in, we receive limited profile information (e.g., name, email, unique ID) in accordance with that provider’s terms and your settings.
Third-Party Processing
To generate or enhance content you request, we may send prompts, media inputs, reference files, and related task data to trusted providers that help us operate the service or supply underlying creative generation technologies.
- OpenAI and Google – language and creative assistance, such as lyrics, text, and certain image tasks.
- Mureka and MusicGPT – music and audio generation.
- Kling, ByteDance, and Runway – video generation, image-to-video, lip-sync, or related media processing.
- Payments – payment platforms such as Stripe and mobile stores such as Apple or Google where applicable. We do not store full card details.
- Email delivery – providers that send necessary transactional or operational emails.
- Hosting, storage, security, and analytics – vendors that support infrastructure, monitoring, performance, and first-party analytics.
We share the minimum data reasonably needed for each task. Depending on the provider and the task, those providers may process data under their own privacy policies, terms of service, and data processing terms. We seek to work with providers whose practices are consistent with operating a lawful consumer service, but we do not control every aspect of third-party processing. See our Terms of Service for additional details.
Public vs. Private Content
You control whether a jingle is public or private. Public jingles, and associated metadata such as title, cover image, caption, username, and thumbnails, may be visible to other users, may appear in recommendations or feeds, and may be indexed by search engines or distributed through sharing features. Private jingles are intended to be visible only to you and to our personnel or providers where access is needed for service operation, security, compliance, moderation, or support.
Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to run the site, functional cookies to remember preferences, and analytics cookies to improve the product. You can change cookie settings in your browser. Disabling essential cookies may impact the ability to sign in or create content.
Data Retention
- Account data and UGC are retained while your account is active, subject to your settings and the deletion processes described below.
- If you close your account, your content is removed from public view promptly and deleted from primary systems within roughly 30 days, except where longer retention is needed for legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
- System logs and backups may persist for up to 90 days, after which they roll off or are irreversibly deleted in the ordinary course.
- Payment and transaction records may be retained as required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations, often for 3 to 7 years.
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics may be kept for product improvement, security, reporting, and business operations.
- If content was public before deletion, copies may persist outside our systems in third-party caches, search indexes, mirrors, partner systems, or user devices.
Deletion (Close Your Account)
You can delete your account at any time from My Profile → Close account. When you do:
- Your account is deactivated promptly and your public content is removed from public view as part of the account closure process.
- Your jingles (lyrics, audio, video, images, prompts), tags, and associated metadata are scheduled for deletion from primary systems within approximately 30 days.
- Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups, logs, and disaster recovery systems for up to 90 days, after which they are purged in the normal course of business.
- Records we must keep by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as payment records, fraud-prevention logs, security records, or unresolved disputes, may be retained as required.
- We cannot delete copies of content retained by third parties who accessed or stored public content while it was public.
Moderation, Safety & Diagnostics
To keep Vizasound reliable and safe, we log system errors and operational events, which may include timestamp, endpoint, request path, remote IP, device or browser data, and limited metadata. We also store issue reports submitted by users, including reporter, target user, related jingle, issue text, status, and assigned admin where applicable. We use this information to investigate problems, enforce policies, review abuse or copyright complaints, improve service quality, and protect rights, safety, and security.
How We Share Information
- Service providers that help us operate the service, such as hosting, storage, analytics, security, email, content generation, payments, and support vendors.
- Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
- Legal reasons to comply with law, enforce our terms, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, security, and property.
- With your direction when you choose to make content public, share links externally, or enable settings that allow other eligible users to access your content or saved assets.
- With other eligible users at your direction if you enable Media Kit image or voice sharing settings that allow followers or connections to use those saved assets in supported creation flows.
- Other users for direct messages, profile information you choose to display, and public content you choose to publish.
We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Notification Choices
You can manage notification preferences in Settings → Notifications, including app, push, and email notification categories. You can also use your device operating system settings to disable push notifications and email unsubscribe controls where provided. Some service-related notifications, such as account, security, purchase, refund, policy, or legal notices, may still be sent when necessary.
International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and may process data in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms, for cross-border transfers.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. EU and UK users can exercise GDPR rights; U.S. state laws, including California laws, may provide similar rights such as the right to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for exercising rights.
To make a request, contact us at support@vizasound.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We use safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, access controls, monitoring, and administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to reduce risk. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
Children’s Privacy
Vizasound is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
