[Intro]
[Verse 1]
In the silence of the darkest night
Hope seemed lost, no end in sight
But heaven whispered, “Wait and see”
The stone will roll, you’ll be set free
[Pre-Chorus]
Tears may fall, but joy will rise
Death has lost, it has no right
[Chorus]
He is risen! He is alive!
King of glory, glorified
Grave defeated, death undone
Victory is won!
He is risen! Lift Him high!
Let the whole earth testify
Jesus lives forevermore
Risen Lord!
[Verse 2]
On the third day, light broke through
Power moved, the promise true
Empty grave and angels say
“He’s not here — He’s risen today!”
[Pre-Chorus]
Chains are broken, fear is gone
In His life, we now belong
[Chorus]
He is risen! He is alive!
King of glory, glorified
Grave defeated, death undone
Victory is won!
He is risen! Lift Him high!
Let the whole earth testify
Jesus lives forevermore
Risen Lord!
[Bridge]
Leader: Who has conquered death and grave?
Responder: Jesus! Jesus!
Leader: Who has power now to save?
Responder: Jesus! Jesus!
Leader: He is risen, He is reigning still
Responder: Jesus! Jesus!
[Chorus]
He is risen! He is alive!
King of glory, glorified
Grave defeated, death undone
Victory is won!
He is risen! Lift Him high!
Let the whole earth testify
Jesus lives forevermore
Risen Lord!
