*Intro:*
Lali M
In the heart of Iganga, where the Nile flows free
Stands a school that's shaping minds, setting souls on fire, it's clear
Mount Zion High, a beacon of hope
Where dreams are born, and futures unfold
*Verse 1:*
I walked through those gates, with a heart full of doubt
But the teachers welcomed me, with a love that brought me out
They saw the potential, in every single one
And nurtured it with care, till we had won
*Chorus:*
Mount Zion High, Iganga, you're a guiding light
Shining bright, in the dark of night
You taught me to dream, to strive, to be
And I'll carry that fire, wherever I go, that's the key
*Verse 2:*
From the classrooms to the fields, we learned to give our best
Friendship and unity, the values we possess
We rose above, our challenges and fears
And found our strength, in the power of our tears
*Chorus:*
Mount Zion High, Iganga, you're a guiding light
Shining bright, in the dark of night
You taught me to dream, to strive, to be
And I'll carry that fire, wherever I go, that's the key
*Bridge:*
Today, I stand tall, with gratitude in my heart
I'm a product of your love, a brand new start
I'll make you proud, with the life I lead
And I'll never forget, the seeds you planted in me
*Chorus:*
Mount Zion High, Iganga, you're a guiding light
Shining bright, in the dark of night
You taught me to dream, to strive, to be
And I'll carry that fire, wherever I go, that's the key
*Outro:*
Mount Zion High, I'll never say goodbye
You'll stay in my heart, forever I'll apply
The lessons I've learned, the love I've received
I'll make it shine, and my heart will forever be relieved
Progress for all
