(Verse 1)
I didn’t earn it, I didn’t strive,
Yet You called me Yours, You gave me life,
From the dust You lifted me,
Wrapped in grace and mercy.
When I was weak, You stood so strong,
When I was lost, You led me on,
Every step, Your hand I see,
Your favor covers me.
(Chorus)
Your favor rests on me, O God,
Like morning dew, like falling rain,
Where You lead, I will not fear,
Your grace has made a way.
Your favor rests on me, O Lord,
Not by power, not by might,
I stand because You stand with me—
I walk within Your light.
(Verse 2)
Doors You open no one shuts,
You speak a word and that’s enough,
What You bless cannot be moved,
I trust in You.
Even when I don’t understand,
Your purpose holds my trembling hands,
You go before me constantly,
Your favor goes with me.
(Chorus)
Your favor rests on me, O God,
Like morning dew, like falling rain,
Where You lead, I will not fear,
Your grace has made a way.
Your favor rests on me, O Lord,
Not by power, not by might,
I stand because You stand with me—
I walk within Your light.
(Bridge)
Let Your favor go before me,
Be my shield on every side,
From generation to generation,
Let Your goodness testify.
I will wait, I will remain,
Under covering of Your name,
All my hope, all my praise
Belongs to You.
(Final Chorus)
Your favor rests on me, O God,
I receive what You have said,
I will live beneath Your smile,
By Your grace I stand.
Your favor rests on me, O Lord,
Now and always, all my days,
I give You glory, honor, praise—
Your favor rests on me.
