Africa, my strength, my flame
Africa, land of my ancestors and my dreams,
Your sun burns, yet your people never fall or fade.
From the sands of the Sahara to the forests of the Congo,
Your heart beats strong, even when the world says “no.”
You were plundered, sold, and chained across the seas,
But in your veins, the light still flows and breathes.
Kingdoms of gold, of queens and kings you bore,
Before history came and silenced you once more.
Africa is not just famine or war,
It’s the drums that rumble beneath the dust and roar.
It’s the dance, the song, the cry of hope’s rise,
A people standing tall, even in the darkest skies.
Too often judged, too rarely heard,
Yet Africa rises, proud and assured.
From Dakar to Nairobi, from Bamako to Kin,
We write tomorrow, we reclaim our destiny within.
Africa, I speak for you, not to complain,
But to honor you, to see you rise again.
For in your soil lies more than diamonds untold,
There are dreams, struggles, blood… and children bold.
