[Intro]
[Verse 1]
Lord, we lift our eyes to You
In this broken world You stay true
You went to prepare a place for us
So we keep believing, we keep our trust
Every heart is calling Your name
Through the struggle, through the pain
We are waiting for Your return
For Your glory our hearts still burn
[Chorus]
We wait for Your Kingdom, Lord
Come and reign forevermore
Jesus Christ, our living hope
You are the anchor of our soul
We wait for Your Kingdom, Lord
Your promise stands forever sure
And one day we will see Your face
In eternal love and grace
[Verse 2]
Nations calling
From every land, from every shore
We are calling You once more
République démocratique du Congo, France, United States, Brazil
India, Nigeria, Haiti, South Africa still
Germany, Côte d’Ivoire, Canada, United Kingdom
Spain, Italy, Portugal, China we sing as one
Japan, Russia, Mexico, Argentina loud
Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Chile proud
Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt in prayer
Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Angola
[Bridge]
Let every tongue confess Your worth
Let every nation rise in faith and mirth
We wait for Your Kingdom, Lord, come near
Until Your glory fills the earth, oh hear
[Chorus]
We wait for Your Kingdom, Lord
Come and reign forevermore
Jesus Christ, our living hope
You are the anchor of our soul
We wait for Your Kingdom, Lord
Your promise stands forever sure
And one day we will see Your face
In eternal love and grace
[Outro]
Amen, we wait for Your Kingdom, Lord
Amen, we wait for Your Kingdom, Lord
