This Dress Is Not Me

[Intro] Soft light, a closet sigh [Verse 1] This handmedown dress swallows my small frame It's two sizes big, it drags my name I wish I could trade it for something that shines This dress is not me! [Chorus] This dress is not me! I want a fit that shines with who I am Something stylish, mine to own [Verse 2] If I could swap it for a sparkle dress that’s bright A perfect seam that fits and feels just right Until that day, I’ll dream in colors bold and free [Chorus] This dress is not me! I want a fit that shines with who I am Something stylish, mine to own [Outro] Someday I’ll choose the size that’s mine
