I sought forgiveness, so forgive me, for therein lies my anguish;
With my own hands I laid you to rest—rejoice!—and watered your grave with my tears.
The path is clear; depart this abode of ruin and rise above;
I am the slain one; let the radiant truths shine forth in my words.
I am the orator; my verses tower high like majestic mountains;
Glory defines my bounds, and my joy lies in steadfast humility.
I roam the earth; make way for me across the vast seas of poetry;
I am the one who stirs the soul; wipe away my tears with the touch of eloquence.
