"Sister, I am back." Eve said. "Where did you spend the night?" her sister asked. "I was just here!" Eve answered. Eve's sister took it easy. The second time they met, Eve used the same excuse and came back at 3:58 am again. She did it several times.
Eve and Isaac always wanted to remember their first meet where they became watch man and woman at a certain rich man's gate throughout the night--
When the term was almost coming to its end, Eve informed Isaac that she will be leaving the town to home after some days, Isaac was so sad about the news. On the going day, Isaac fell sick. He was suffering from Eve monia and hunger which he did not tell Eve but he only informed her of him being sick. And had asked her to visit him. Though Eve was so obedient and respectful to her parents, but was also deep in love and caring for Isaac. So she decided to postpone the going day so as to visit her patient.
When she reached where the patient was, she said "NO honey, I can't leave you when you are in such a situation. I have to stay and take care of you, darling..." So she stayed with the guy for some good time and their favourite meal was rice,chapati "chikomando" for every lunch and supper while they could eat mandazi and water for breakfast and dinner. So, Eve was coming from Isaac's place to school sometimes, and when she was with her sister, I think she was having a diarrhoeal disease which was healed whenever she was with Isaac.
Now, one night again, Eve went to meet Isaac and she still used the same trick of her usual disease. "Sister, I want to go for a long call, I will be back soon." Eve said to her sister. Her sister still let her go as usual. When Eve was out on her way to the latrine, her sister tried spying / following her secretly and she realized that her sister was in love with Isaac. So Eve came back home again at 3:58 am. "Sister, I am back!" Eve said to her sister. "Where did you spend the night again?" Her sister asked. Eve said that she was around.
