[Verse 1]
I held on to the ashes of a broken past
Tried to make a fire that was never meant to last
Every word you said still echoes in my mind
But love turned cold, left the truth behind
[Pre-Chorus]
Now I see it clearly through the smoke and the pain
Some things we lose, we never should regain
[Chorus]
So let it burn, let it burn tonight
All the tears, all the fights
I wonât try to save whatâs already gone
Iâll be stronger when the flames move on
Let it burn, Iâll rise from the flame
I wonât ever be the same
From the hurt, I will learn
So I let it burn⊠let it burn
[Verse 2]
You were fire, but you burned me slow
Left scars deeper than youâll ever know
I gave you all, you let it fall apart
Now Iâm picking pieces of my heart
[Pre-Chorus]
Every memory fading into the dark
What once was love is just a spark
[Chorus]
So let it burn, let it burn tonight
All the tears, all the fights
I wonât try to save whatâs already gone
Iâll be stronger when the flames move on
Let it burn, Iâll rise from the flame
I wonât ever be the same
From the hurt, I will learn
So I let it burn⊠let it burn
[Bridge]
No more holding on to what destroys me
No more chains, Iâm finally free
Even if it hurts to watch it die
Iâll spread my wings and learn to fly
[Final Chorus]
Let it burn, let it fade away
Iâm not who I was yesterday
Through the fire, I found my light
Now Iâm stepping out of the night
Let it burn, Iâm not afraid
Of the choices that I made
From the hurt, I will learn
So I let it burnâŠ
[Outro]
Yeah⊠I let it burn đ„
