And what if the leaders are lost and calamities come after them like torrents?
Then to whom shall we turn if its doors are firmly shut? Does leadership have its misfortunes?
Indeed, if corruption prevails, even scorpions will nestle on the throne of leadership.
If the person of the jurist becomes tyrannical and a fire is kindled within him that melts doctrines,
what is the sin of those crowds who carried in their hearts clouds of love for the Prophet?
Except as the Prophet said, and the Sunnah was suspended, by which the righteous had clung.
As for some tyrants, she spoke openly, addressing the witnesses,
What did the blessed land contain, or what did it conceal?
In its depths, worms and angry ants.
If only she had broadened her research before speaking, for knowledge is a penetrating light that reveals the extent of men's guarding, even if it contains every flaw, to attain positions.
